Hydrate Serum
30 mL
Skin responds when supported
Before We Talk About This Product
Think of dry soil after gentle rain.
When rain falls gently, the water has time to soak in. The soil softens, absorbs what it needs, and becomes ready to support what comes next.
But when the ground has become too dry, water often runs straight across the surface before it has a chance to sink in.
Skin can behave much the same way.
Hydration isn't simply about adding water. It's about helping the skin receive and hold onto it.
That's why Hydrate Serum exists — to support hydration where it's needed most, leaving the skin feeling comfortable rather than simply wet.
Why We Made This
Most people who feel dehydrated have already tried drinking more water, using heavier creams, or applying more product. And most of them find it doesn't quite solve the problem.
That's because surface hydration and deeper hydration are different things. A cream that sits on top of the skin can make it feel temporarily smoother, but if the skin isn't able to draw moisture inward and hold it there, the feeling doesn't last.
Hydrate Serum was formulated to work differently. Lightweight enough to absorb quickly, it supports the skin's ability to attract and retain moisture rather than simply coating the surface. The result is hydration that feels settled rather than applied.
The formula is intentionally simple — two ingredients, each chosen for a reason. Nothing added for the sake of it.
Who It's For
For skin that feels tight or uncomfortable despite regular moisturising.
For skin that feels dry again within hours of applying product.
For skin that looks dull or feels rough in texture, particularly in cooler or drier months.
For skin that has become sensitised and needs gentle, uncomplicated support.
For anyone who has tried many products and found that more didn't help — and is ready to try less, done more thoughtfully.
What This Product Helps Support
Supports the skin's ability to retain moisture. Hydrate Serum works with the skin's natural moisture-holding capacity rather than simply adding water to the surface.
Helps skin feel comfortable throughout the day. Not just immediately after application — but hours later, when the difference between surface hydration and genuine hydration becomes clear.
Prepares the skin for what follows. Applied before Barrier Restore, Hydrate Serum supports hydration beneath the surface so the moisturiser above it has something to work with.
Suits daily use. Morning and evening, without adjustment for season or skin state.
Works as part of a layered routine. Hydrate Serum is most effective when applied to skin that has been cleansed and misted — and followed by Barrier Restore to seal in what it has delivered.
Why We Chose These Ingredients
Hyaluronic Acid (Vegan) — Chosen because hydrated skin is often more comfortable skin. It helps the skin hold onto moisture, supporting hydration throughout the day.
Radish Root Ferment — Chosen to complement the formula, helping the skin feel comfortable and balanced.
How To Use
After cleansing and misting, take 1–2 drops of Hydrate Serum and press gently into the face and neck. Allow it to absorb for a moment before applying Barrier Restore.
Press rather than rub. The serum absorbs more effectively when pressed into slightly damp skin — which is why Rebalance Mist comes first.
Hydrate Serum suits daily use morning and evening. In the morning, follow with Barrier Restore and then sunscreen. In the evening, follow with Barrier Restore as the final step.
One drop is usually enough. If your skin needs a little more, you can always add another.
The NUA Ritual
Cleanse — Calm Cleanse or Pure Gel Cleanse removes what doesn't belong without disturbing what does.
Mist — Rebalance Mist prepares the skin to receive what follows. Slightly damp skin allows the serum to spread more comfortably and settle more naturally.
Hydrate — Hydrate Serum supports hydration beneath the surface. This is where you are now.
Restore — Barrier Restore brings everything together, supporting the skin barrier and holding in what came before.
The serum works best when the skin has already been cleansed and misted. And it works best when followed by Barrier Restore. Each step prepares for the next.
From the NUA Journal
Dry skin and dehydrated skin are often confused — and treated the same way, which is why the treatment often doesn't work. This article explains the difference clearly, and why understanding it changes what you reach for.
If you've ever wondered why your skin still feels tight despite moisturising, this is the most useful place to begin.
Questions People Quietly Ask
Will it feel sticky or heavy?
No. Hydrate Serum is lightweight and absorbs quickly. Most people find it feels like nothing within a minute or two of application — which is the intention.
Can I use it without the moisturiser?
Yes. But Hydrate Serum is formulated to work as part of a layered routine. It supports hydration beneath the surface; Barrier Restore supports the barrier above it. Together they do more than either does separately.
My skin is oily. Do I still need a hydrating serum?
Often, yes. Oily skin and dehydrated skin are not opposites — skin can be both at once. When the skin is dehydrated, it sometimes produces more oil to compensate. Supporting hydration can help the skin find a more comfortable balance over time.
How long before I notice a difference?
Most people notice their skin feels more comfortable within the first few days. The more meaningful change — skin that holds hydration consistently rather than needing constant reapplication — tends to become clear after two to three weeks of daily use.
Where does it sit in my routine?
After Rebalance Mist, before Barrier Restore. Always before sunscreen in the morning.
Can I use it with active ingredients?
Yes. Hydrate Serum is well suited to routines that include actives. Supporting hydration is particularly useful when actives are in regular use, as they can sometimes affect the skin's moisture balance.
